Sims Stump Grinding is a Wetumpka-based crew with eleven years of experience working the ground across Central Alabama. We are a newer business by name, but the hands doing the work have been at it for a long time. We keep our services focused and we keep them done right.

Our core work is stump grinding. When a tree comes down, the stump stays behind, and that is where we come in. We handle stump removal and grinding for both residential and commercial properties, clearing what is left so you can plant, build, or simply walk your yard without an obstacle in the way. Alongside that, we work as a topsoil supplier, handling both supply and installation for homeowners and businesses. Once a stump is gone, fresh topsoil fills the space and leaves the area ready for grass, garden beds, or new landscaping.

Those two lines of work fit together. A cleared stump often leaves a hole, and good topsoil finishes the job. We bring both to the same visit when it makes sense, so you deal with one crew and one schedule instead of chasing several.
